Yes, especially in Sport Mode which is the only way I will drive my cars.It seems that the resonator deletes on regular GT350’s create a lot of pops when letting off the throttle (which personally I’m not a fan of). Does the R make as frequents pop noises as well?

Please leave your man card as you exit the building. It seems that the resonator deletes on regular GT350’s create a lot of pops when letting off the throttle (which personally I’m not a fan of). Does the R make as frequents pop noises as well?
I kinda figured e85 would bump it up a notch! And it’s not that I don’t like it, I’d just rather have a few pop here and there instead of it being constant as I hear in some videos. After the res delete, I really felt like the lund flex tune with e85 made it pop even more. I really don’t think it was in my head, but there’s a chance lol.
I loved the snap crackle pop, but many don’t. They make block off plates that were really popular for my bike so it wouldn’t do that on decel...I didn’t understand wtf was wrong with em!
Lol - Don’t you worry; your man card will be replaced with a little old lady card before you head out to your Camry. ;)Chill dude haha, I just think there can be a point when there are too many pops and crackles. Still without a doubt the best sounding v8 I’ve ever heard from factory!
I’d love to have an R but a little out of the price range, but I think I’ll still do the resonator delete.A GT350 without resonators is an R exhaust, so if you've heard one you've heard the other. A couple things worth noting here though:
1. The difference is not so drastic that if you're ok with the regular GT350 pops and crackles than you'll all of a sudden be annoyed by the R pops and crackles.
2. If you're asking because you're considering buying an R, and somehow you were annoyed by the pops and crackles (grant it as others said this might be a first on the forum), it would be very easy to have the standard GT350 resonators put on an R.
3. The pops and crackles are pretty much gone when the exhaust flaps are closed.
4. Because we like the pops and crackles, we (R owners and GT350 resonator deletes) tend to drive in a manner that produces them, mostly by not letting our foot all the way off the gas on deceleration. If you weren't driving intentionally like this as we do, they're much less obvious.
If you don't like the popping, why do the resonator delete though? Just to make it a bit louder?I’d love to have an R but a little out of the price range, but I think I’ll still do the resonator delete.
