Zero news. I have been checking Facebook, YouTube, Lebanon Ford's website and everywhere else I can think of.
Yeah,.....nothing.
All I know of Roush releasing is the 2020 JR Special Edition Mustang.

Do we know anything at all about the upcoming VMP kit? Their kits and tuning have a good reputation for 2015-2017 models, don't they?

Have you guys found any info on the Phase 2 kit during SEMA??
I've been doing Google searches with no luck. I don't think they had anything for SEMA, except for the 2020 JR special edition car?

I called them Wednesday And asked. They wouldn’t give specifics other than 2020.

I will just be ordering the larger VMP tvs2560 Gen3R head-unit to replace my Roush 2300 unit, after feedback from fellow Aussie Burkey last week. I already ordered the oversized Whipple heat-exchanger, now to start getting the fuel-injectors and fuel-system up to date before swinging over to the VMP unit ;)

Hopefully LethalPerformance or Beefcake will give a good Black-Friday Sale on the VMP, ready to place the order, actually...the Roush 2300 will replace the 1900 unit on my Falcon XR8, thus a nice situation to be in, actually. Same with the Roush LTR on the Mustang, it will go towards the Falcon.

Will open a work log pretty soon to keep you guys posted.

Cheers,
Beano

Finally the stars aligned and Bradenton Motorsports Park had a track event last night during Florida’s first cold front of the season. 65 and dry for track conditions.

Well this commanded excellent performance from my car. Definitely the fastest I’ve ever felt the car run. I used ice to initially cool the IC water down, then used the chiller to maintain 32 to 35 degrees while the engine warmed up in the staging lanes. And for the guys that think I’m dropping water on the track I have a solenoid that shuts off the cabin evaporator.

First pass was a 11.05@130. Car was doing awesome but I was a little lazy in the launch.
Second and third passes were it. Ran a 10.995@132 and the last pass was a 10.876@133. This was the first time the car had ever made power in 4th gear. I think this is related to keeping the IAT2 temps below 120 degrees. The highest was 114 with the ambient sensor reading 71 degrees.

I just wished I could have 60 footed a bit better I know it has a 10.60 or 10.70 with some more driver modifications.

Your hard work paid off, congrats
You basically confirmed what I’ve said from the get go, u just need to get IATS down for the Roush to shine.

I bet at Atco a unmodified Kit would go tens in 50 degree air

Again congrats on your passes

Yes sir. I swapped the rear gears from 3.55 to 3.73. It traps in forth at about 6300 rpms with a 26 in tire. I’m thinking about going to a 28 in tire and 4.09 gears.

I saw that.
I think it's later this month when we'll be seeing anything about the 2650 VMP. I can't wait. It's going to be beast!

That's going to be a killer set up Beano!
Keep us posted. Can't wait to see your results.

Congratulations! Wish I had made it out to see that pass.... the weather was awesome last night... How much did that chiller setup set you back?
