You should be fine with the recommended 5w50 oil. Stop-and-go and short drives equal extreme duty.

I work and live near West LA. I always make sure I get coolant temp up and I drive a mix of 25 - 45 mph roads, I get rpm rarely above 2-3. Yes I do long drives at times to Arizona and Nevada at highway speeds etc. No issues with car since 2018, I also change oil 6 months even I put low miles.

After 5 weeks waiting for my blower it arrived today. CNC by Jokerz. I have a Solar 103mm TB and 2.5 pulley to go with it. Will report back on WHP and Max boost level.

Car made 885WHP @7500 and 703TQ. 103mm TB, ported Blower on a 2.5 pulley. Only made 16psi boost. I do belive this is the limt of the Roush 2650. VMP makes an OD balancer that may increase boost. Now let's see if I can break into the 4s 60-130. Had a best of 5.29 with 2.7 pulley and unpoted blower with a 95mm TB.

After picking up the car. Dyno operator pulled up short at just over 7000 RPM. Car was on the way to 900.

I ran across an old thread on crank breakage with whipple, procharger etc. someone mentioned that Roush / VMP drive the supercharger from the back via the AC belt vs whipple using the front which puts more stress on the crank snout. Does this apply to the 2018 Roush Stage 2 set up?

The 2018-20 Roush does drive from the rear of the pulley and Whipple from the front. I believe the centrifs drive from an add on pulley even further forward/cantilever. Haven’t heard of a broken crank in a while though,

Roush 2650 and VMP SC are driven along with the A/C compressor from the back crank pulley.

Any actual data on how much added weight the Roush Stage 2 Supercharger kit adds to the front end?
