lol I agree, plus they were known to crack pretty easily.

I absolutely hate the wheels. hate hate hate. They're not 70k+ sports car rims in my book.

Problem is that depending on whether you have the larger LTR or not will depend on how quickly it pulls timing. You're in Florida so if you have the smaller ltr than you might as well have stock power once the iat2's get up. Roush pulls timing at 100 degrees iats2's adn completely closes the tb at 150
Are you certain that phase 2 pulls timing at 100 degrees? If that is the case, there would only be about a week during the year in Florida where it made max power. I am not arguing....just curious if you are sure. I can't tell any performance difference between iat of 90 or 120.

Not sure what page it was on but someone verified that phase 1 started pulling at 100.

Ah...phase 1. I wonder if that was an early cal and maybe they became a bit less conservative with later cals and phase 2. Any time the ambient temp is over 55 or 60, iat2 will be over 100.

Maybe I don't know. I mean it's a gradual pull in small increments I'd assume but still if you're in Florida with 90 degrees and 90 humidity it's going to get up there I would think.

It's the heat exchanger but Roush calls it the LTR (low temp radiator). Sits in front of the radiator.
Did they have 2 different sizes of the LTR on the GEN 2 kits also? What's the best way to improve on the cooling for these cars? Upgraded pump, resevoir or heat exchanger? I haven't really done much research on this yet. Sorry for all the questions. Still learning about these cars.

Doesn't 40 degrees over ambient sound really high? Is that after a 1/4 mile run or just cruising?

Just cruising, you will see 40-50 degrees over ambient. It gets much higher after shutting off the engine but it does cool quickly once you restart. Hard pulls don't seem to raise temps much. In fact, high rpm and high speed seems to cool it more quickly.

Just got the Whipple 132mm throttle body installed. Car got re-tuned by PBD. Shift points 7,800. Ran it on the street with big and littles, and a full can of boostane so the car is clearly faster then it would be on just 93 octane. Kept the 4.00 pulley I won’t change that.

God Damn the car feels strong. Stronger then I expected.

I was running 120-123 today while it was 75. I was pushing it kind of hard for over a 45 min drive but didn’t have a chance to open up fully

might you mean phase 2 No. it has one. Phase 1 had 2. Ice tank is your best option for heat on the Roush kits
