I have searched through the forum but am not finding the clarification I'm looking for. The question I have is do you need to lock down the cams prior to removing the timing chain and tensioner for an OPG change. None of the write up' s I have read say to do so but the instructions for comp cams does mention this step for Thier cam change. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance, I just don't want to screw this up.
