Question about the window sticker.

I traded in a loaded v6 fusion. I can do without the 12 speakers and the leather seats, but I actually listened to the satellite radio.

Is the build date on the sticker? There is only one thing that looks like a date and that is in a string at the bottom. FJ091 N RA 2X 625 002101 09 09 15. So maybe 9/9/15?

That's when it was scheduled & VIN was assigned. Build would be in a string across the top with the word "blend" below in small print. Typically, it's build 7 - 14 days after being scheduled.

Xm ready means that unless you subscribe to it, you don't have it. However, because it's a new buy, you will likely get it free for a few months, half a year or maybe a full year, but it will expire after that...becoming ready for a new subscription.

If it is on the window sticker does that mean the car has to have it? Specifically I have a base model 2016 Gt. My window sticker lists Sirius Xm but I don't have it. Can I take my car back and have it put in?

If it's available in the system you can get it here - just plug in your entire VIN after the '="

Bring up this link, then erase the VIN at the end of the link and put in your VIN.

My build date is missing from my sticker and also online. I looked at the one in your link and that spot up top is blank when I enter my vin.

All your posts are talking about XM ready and such, the base GT's do not have satellite radio or the antenna. The base cars don't get XM period. Either they made his car special based on his window sticker (doubtful...) or they screwed up (more likely)

OP interesting that the car lists that though, mine does not and no 300a car window sticker I've found online lists that.

Yeah, that sticker seems to be an odd duck. Clearly an early '16 build, will be hard to find another on the lot with a similar VIN to compare with. Likely some snafu that they caught & corrected @ the plant, but some cars "escaped" with the bad label. It was not available on the '15's either !

Would be interesting to contact Deysha & show it to her, see what she can dig up on what/why it happened.
