I like the look of the PP air vents and material better than my stock GT dash trim panels.

Is it possible to switch over from one to another and if you can, is the PP plug back behind the regular GT trim to plug into that new guage cluster?

It probably isnt, but worth asking about.

Thanks

Wow, no one has asked that in quite a while. Yes, it is possible, no the connections are not there but you can order the wiring harness and the gauges from Ford. The gauges can often times be found on e-bay as well for around $150 more or less.

The turned aluminum dash is a bit trickier to find without spending a small fortune. You may be able to do a salvage yard locator search for the 4 pieces that make up the aluminum surround.

I just checked e-bay and low and behold there is one out there with gauges, your lucky day! It is missing the far right lower aluminum trim piece though. I'm sure you can find one somewhere!

Finally, you need to do a little modification to the area where the middle vent is to make room for the gauge cluster. BTW, the middle vent gets its air from the same source as the 2 side vents so no harm blocking it.

If you do a search on the forums there are members who have documented the process so search away!

Which trim piece are you referring to on the far right?
