Question about actuator hose.

Hi everyone. Has anyone replaced their Whipple supercharger actuator hose? I cut mine to take the head unit off. I couldn't get it off. It wasn't a big or long hose and I didn't want to take a chance on damaging the plastic connection on the actuator.
If you have replaced it, did you replace it with the same Gates Barricade fuel injection hose? I called Whipple and they said it would be $50. I can't buy it until Monday, so I was curious as to what others have used.

I’m sure Whipple is carrying EPA compliant hose.

Thanks again. Just found Gates Racing 27334 / 225 psi working pressure etc. for $8 online at Autoplicity.
