I'm sure it's possible, you would have to wire them yourself though. I know when I had my base model I added the turn signal mirrors and the light up sill plate.
To my understanding that is correct. In my case my car have 301 package so will like to upgrade to the ones with Puddle Light and Signals but don't know if the wiring harness are there or not.
My opinion, save your money, to me it was look at that, that is cool, for the first few times driving the car at night, after that I don't even notice they are on/there when I unlock the car or remote start it. Now it is more like.

I agree, but some people enjoy the challenge of upfitting a base car to have all the premium features. It's harder than it used to be, because almost always the harness between trim levels are different so you have to wire in upgrades yourself. Yes, they have always been the Mustang pony. I have always found them to be an enjoyable little feature of my Mustangs. ”Cool” has a value. Considering the small fortune many of us spend on cosmetic upgrades these puddle lights are certainly worth the cool.
Everyone is different, my opinion is just that, not knocking anyone that thinks they are great or cool.
They do look really nice for sure.I think these are the puddle lights he's referring to that come from the factory. I know mine is a GT premium but I dont have a window sticker, as i got mine 2nd hand. I dont have a listing of all the options. Wish I did though. Sorry I can't answer any questions about adding them when they didn't come on the car though, as mine already had them. I actually really like them. The novelty hasn't worn off for me and ppl always comment on it. Obviously a subjective thing, though.
