Yea was just wondering if anybody has done it. Such a nice feature for the premiums IMO. I saw s550 parts has some but you have to put AAA batteries in it or some bs 😂

I'm sure it's possible, you would have to wire them yourself though. I know when I had my base model I added the turn signal mirrors and the light up sill plate.
Do you remember what you need to get the turn signals to work with your base model? I'd love to upgrade my base model to have them but can't really find anything that tells you what specific pins you need to do.

I just bought these for my Mach 1, but by the time they were delivered, it was already put away for the winter.

They're plug n play if you already have the puddle lights, just swap them out.

What are the puddle light?
The mustang horse light at the doors?
They are under the mirror, displays a Mustang next to the door on the ground.

@OP I'm guessing that the wiring will be there for the puddle lights.

I think these are the puddle lights he's referring to that come from the factory. I know mine is a GT premium but I dont have a window sticker, as i got mine 2nd hand. I dont have a listing of all the options. Wish I did though. Sorry I can't answer any questions about adding them when they didn't come on the car though, as mine already had them. I actually really like them. The novelty hasn't worn off for me and ppl always comment on it. Obviously a subjective thing, though.
Run the VIN that will tell you what the car is/has ..........

I agree, but some people enjoy the challenge of upfitting a base car to have all the premium features. It's harder than it used to be, because almost always the harness between trim levels are different so you have to wire in upgrades yourself. Back in my day when I did it on old cars, plugs were often still there so you just had to snag the parts.
I agree I think they are a nice touch. I was looking into them but from what I've seen I would have to go with aftermarket to make it work but if I am being honest with myself I will regret the $150 and time to do it 2 months later.. Just how I am.. Plus I'm trying not to spend money right now.. This is a few years later from original post, anyway I figured I'd see what people were saying about it and if the plugs were already there...
