Well No my passenger is the RHD mirror, different side to the EU Car
As you have seem the US cars have different units, there is no reason,
it's not the cold, the wet, jetwash, how many times the door is opened, how many times the mirrors are folded.
its just seems to be mainly a UK thing, maybe there is something in our weather, as it got me also
Just look at the weather the US and Canada have, the hailstones, their cars have a lot worse weather than we do, yet not many of theirs seem to be going wrong. What has the UK got that the US and Canada have not?

It's not a UK thing. There are at least 20 threads on here about it, mostly USA.

Can you easily fit a replacement yourself? My L/H puddle light is now just a blob of light part on the door. Its a 180 mile round trip to the dealer so I wonder if the would send one if I could fit it.

Yep, piece of cake! Just need a small flat headed screwdriver to release the clip - that's the hardest part.

Fitting is the easy part; convincing your dealer to send you a part to fit yourself, nevermind having not seen the problem, is the hard part.

I asked them to send me it with the job card and an pre-paid envelope, signed the job card sent it back to them, they were fine with it

True that, mine put up a bit of a fight, but i said it's pointless as i swapped them to a friends lights but the friend wants them back and sent them pictures of the busted ones... Well kristians busted ones ;)!

Update on puddle lamps.

Appears a new version has been shipped (Old on the right, new on the left) Looks like the lense (Clean bit) has been injected behind the plastic seal)

Errr, no, because UK models don't have BLIS? They're just UK model Puddle Lamps as we;ve been having major issues with them turning into blobs lol!

How much? It's a warranty/TSB so - free from a dealer !

We have the same issues with the blobs here. My passenger side is a blob.. i have bliss so they are twice the cost of non bliss parts!

You shouldn't have to pay fuck all for them, there's a TSB/it's covered under warranty

My dealer sent me a prepaid envelope with the puddle lamps and the warranty job card, i signed the job card, sent the job card back, installed them myself :lol:!
