Had a bad puddle lamp and changed it out.
Here are some simple tips when installing.
1. Apply a light bead of super glue around the oval shaped clear plastic cover on the replacement lamp.
2. Turn your mirror as far to the inside as possible.
3. Take a flash light and look inside the mirror housing (you can see the the lamp inside and how it is positioned)
4. Use a small screw driver and place it under the mirror housing and GENTLY push the tab on the lamp inward to release it.
5. Use your fingers to pull the bad lamp out and discount it from the plug.
6. Plug the new lamp in and GENTLY push it up into place while using the small screw driver pushing the tab inward.
The clear plastic cover on my new lamp broke free when I first tried to install the unit so that is why I recommend a small bead of super glue to start with.
