2016 - Replacing the batteries 2025 and my fob does not have the white plastic divider that goes in-between the two batteries. What is the purpose of the white plastic divider and can I stack the batteries with out it? Appreciate the feedback.
Picked up a used 2016 with under 5,000 miles. Car mostly sat in a garage. I changed the engine oil and filter but wanted some opinions on changing any other fluids - coolant / power steering / brake etc.. Thanks
you got me curious.. funny thing is that all I was looking for was a manual Mustang GT Convertible to run cross country from Michigan to the Pacific Coast Hwy..This forum has taught me a lot about my car..Thanks everyone
I really like the look of a de-badged Mustang..Anyone else agree? If you de-badged yours send some pics! I changed the rear deck lid to a plain blacked out one and changed my chrome badges to black ones. The front fender holes have stopped me from a complete de-badge..Quoted $1500+ by a body...
Nice! I got out over 3 weeks ago. Inverted Yield Curve in Aug 2019 was the first tell and then this CV issue was the final clue. Wait patiently....Nice job!
Bought my struts from CJ Pony..put em on in less than 25 min. Notched out the area by the battery cover so i can quickly take the battery cover off to trickle charge, clean or change out battery without disturbing the strut. IMO lots better than the rod holding up my hood in my way...
I too am prepping for a cross country run from Michigan to Cali through Yellowstone, Yosemite, and down the PCH..A full size tire along with a battery impact wrench (that can handle 120 ft-lbs) and of course a jack are a must in my opinion. I'm having the front of my vert plastic wrapped to help...
I just spent 20 hours or so getting out the scratches and swirl marks on my 2016 that I bought used from a guy who ran it through car washes. The car only has 4,500 miles and in the sunlight the paint looked terrible from the automatic washes. The top appears to be fine from the AM washes.
Quick Oil Change places and dealerships are the WORST place to have any vehicle serviced. Find a mechanic who has been in business for more than 10-15 yrs and build a relationship. I religiously take my cars to the same mechanic for service work. For instance I run my cars 7500 miles between oil...
Manual but I drive mine only under the following conditions: Sunny, Outside temp 65 degrees+, no previous rain for 2 days, traffic conditions light, and my car only goes West towards California!!! Enjoy!
