Well...I finished installing the following components in my endeavor to increase the quality of the audio system in my 2018 GT:

  • idataLink Maestro DSR1 (DSP)
  • idataLink AF03 T-harness
  • Infinity Kappa 5 amp
  • Metra 2-channel amp
  • Focal Access' in the doors, A-pillar, and 12" sub
  • Polk Audio DB351 center-channel speaker
  • PerfectTune app
  • A butt load of wiring....
Learned quite a bit during the process...and here is the PSA...when you are rooting around in your car removing stuff or unhooking wires, ENSURE you hook things back up that weren't meant to be removed. I found out the hard way when I buttoned everything back up, and discovered my driver-side window and the drivers seat would not function any longer. THREE DAYS...I looked for a possible fault and checked and re-checked everything. Bought the factory manual and perused the wiring diagrams and the fault-isolation tables...to no avail. Almost everything I could access, checked out. My lovely wife could see I was getting frustrated, so she suggested (sweetly) that I simply go back in and remove what I installed or rewired (if looks could kill). Nevertheless, I did just that and found to my utter amazement and chagrin, a ground-wire I had removed and forgot to re-attach. After I put the window back up and moved the seat back, I limped in to thank my wonderful bride (I married WAY above my pay-grade folks!).

Cheers!

All in...about $1500. I have a friend that owns an audio shop, so I was able to get pretty good deals.

I am having the damndest time trying to get an almost identical setup configured. The perfecttune app thinks I am in universal mode even though I have selected the af03 from the maestra setup site and also in the vehicle configuration. Can you post a screenshot of your dsr1 connection details? This is what mine is showing...

I'm intrigued by the fact you kept the center speaker. Does the DSR1 allow you to continue to use the factory amp for the center channel?
