Are for peace of mind mostly. They will keep the pedal feel constant for years. It lets you know when you need to change the brake fluid as that is the only time you will feel the pedal firmness decrease (water in the fluid). At least that's my excuse for putting cool shiney lines on the brakes.
Very good advice!

I am 99% sure that every 2015+ Mustang Model including the Shelby uses the same banjo bolt. M10X1.5. The thread is the same front or rear. The Goodridge product had been on the market since the S550 launched and like other kits on the market fits all 2015+ Mustang EcoBoost, V6 and GT's.

I do not understand the different thread for different models. We have not seen it...yet :)

Who knows? I've emailed Stoptech twice and haven't heard a peep from them. So if the contents of the kit change....

In contrast, I "helped" Galfer with a brake/clutch line kit for a motorcycle. There was a mid-model change that they didn't catch and I did. For my trouble, I got some swag!

Just installed Steeda lines and Z33 pads ( reduce dust )
I bleed the brakes several times but they definitely feel mushy/less touchy compared to how they were before .. (PP Brembo's )

Anyone experience this ? Is their a certain way to bleed the brakes on the S550 ?

Thanks in advance

Love that everyone's going to the Power Stop pads. Way cleaner than OEM. I've had the fronts since new and just swapped out the rears.

Do the farthest side first starting with the outside bleeder. Move inboard. Then go to the other end. Watch the fluid level in the master cylinder. Are you doing it the manual way?

Just keep working it through. You probably have a stubborn air pocket.

Yes...doing it the old fashion way as I am old school..

Car is OFF with no power...start at passenger rear, then driver rear, then passenger front outside/inside then front driver side & keeping fluid level near max. I just went to move the car and they do not feel like they felt when stock...has more pedal travel..

You still have air in the lines. Pedal should be crazy solid. Mine is and I didn't even do the rear lines.

My memory isn't the greatest, but I recall having the same issue. Just had to keep bleeding. If you have an air compressor I can't recommend an air powered bleeder enough. Or look into speed bleeders.

I know this thread is old but I just got the hoses for my PP brakes and they sent me the wrong thread. Where can I find the correct ones?
