I have a 2019 base GT A10 pp1 active exhaust. I am thinking of these two changes. Cat delete pipes and a lund flex fuel tune to switch to E85. Anyone have info on what these two changes plus e85 will do?
Also, just how much noise increase do the cat deletes add? Is it as much as going from quiet to to regular setting, or worse, like from quiet to sport+?

Last year at the 1/4 track I run at there was a 18 mustang gt just like mine option wise. Base (non toggle) pp1 a10 cars. His best stock with 1/8 tank of fuel was 12.48 @ 113 mph. I ran 11.91 @ 117.6 with just a E85 tune and 3/4 tank of fuel. Pretty big difference.

It will be quite louder. You are looking at probably 40-50 hp give or take with the flex tune, corn and cat delete.

How much of that 40 to 50 hp comes as a result of cat removal? May not be worth it to me, if active exhaust "quiet mode" won't bring it down to the noise level of a normal GT

Not much, My '18 dyno'd 420rwhp/395rwtq on BP93 and a PBD tune, installed LT's/O/R Flowmaster Outlaw and dyno'd 438/415, Switched to a PBD E85 tune and saw 468rwhp/ 440rwtq with a minor tune revision.

I have a base 300A/A10/PP1 package so no drag mode and with these heavy ass BREMBO brake rotors my best N/A run has been 11.85 @121 on the E85 tune, on 93 my best was 12.05 @119.5, so the power is there on the corn but these cars are just so freakin' heavy.

A 121 mph trap in a 3800 plus pound car with only a n/a 302 is still pretty impressive.

3800+ is unfortunately right, The trap speed is good, the ET suxs ... I haven't weight the 18' yet but I had about 50lbs of junk in the trunk [tools and air compressor] and more junk on my trunk that I need to loose soooo closer 4150 on that pass ... Yeah .... 4150 is good ....

Majority comes from tune with e85.
