Be sure to go over ALL hose clamps from intercooler, to throttle body to turbo connections and tighten them up. I found quite a few of mine were originally barely 'hand tight' from the factory...
I went through and tightened mine up when i did the intercooler upgrade over the weekend. the only ones i didnt check where the far side of the hoses that connect to the intercooler lol. But i am pretty sure mine hits near on 20psi but in saying that it still feels peaky on power delivery.... fark me. I just want to go full charge pipes. But then i'd also rather pay someone to do it. getting the front bumper off is a bastard!
I think I have this problem as well. Base unmodified Ecoboost. I thought the problem would be as simple as replacing the LPFS. Sometimes the engine idles rough, which IIRC would be more or less cured by replacing the spark plugs. Was thinking to replace them with NGK Iridium because I'm almost to 42K. At idle I'm at about 20 in the vacuum, I've only started watching this in the last couple of days when I'd change the display to the boost/vacuum gauge. I've seen the boost go as high as 10. This is at about 3-3500 rpm in 4th merging onto the freeway. I also felt that my car was a bit anemic in the power department. I'll definitely check my hoses for looseness.
