They are great intakes, they are closed box so you don't get any hot engine bay sucked in. Don't have any dyno proof on gains personally but they are a hot sell here at www.lethalperformance.com. https://www.lethalperformance.com/c...-dry-filter-2018-2020-mustang-gt-419850d.htmlOther than the +20 hp/+11 ft lbs claim corsa advertises, does anyone have independent dynos? Everything I've seen from corsa's marketing, they seem pretty genuine... but this is a big claim.
Thanks for the input. It looks aesthetically really good. I just was looking for some clarity on the advertising. Most of the data I’ve seen shows the stock intake is hard to beat. They are great intakes, they are closed box so you don't get any hot engine bay sucked in. Yup bold claim for a no tune setup especially since stock flows pretty well with a drop in.You only get the 20hp if you put snake oil on the filter.
I'm sure Corsa has the numbers. I think a quick email to them could answer your question. We do have some in stock here at www.lethalperformance.com if you want to give one a try! Thanks for the input. It looks aesthetically really good. I am going to get a Lund tune regardless, and planned on using the stock intake. But if corsa can get up to 20hp before the tune, I’m interested...
I'd assume the IATs for a closed element like this wouldn't be much different than stock. I'd think the only way it has that much more performance would be flow dynamics. Also what are the IAT’s like at idle? This is important
you would think so but not always- the roush and airaid intakes are closed box and they run hot.I'd assume the IATs for a closed element like this wouldn't be much different than stock. I'd think the only way it has that much more performance would be flow dynamics.
CAI gains (from all manufactures) seem like they are just piggybacking off the tune gains...
