Engine arrived today. Waiting for the long tubes to have the v bands welded prior to getting it stabbed into the car. Still in track to get her running this week.

V band are all wrapped up. Engine will be in the car after work today!!! Most likely be tomorrow for 1st fire because im not allowed to make noise past 7pm in the garage.

Dropped the engine into the car Tuesday and buttoned up everything underneath.

yesterday included finishing up everything to get the car up to temp. No leaks and no mixing of fluids and no complaints. seems like the tune is exactly where rob and I left off so it’s time to dig back into that. I’ll be taking it after work today (9/15) to finally get the alignment sorted.

trying to determine now if I want to have the bumper and hood re sprayed or to just do some touch up and send it. For now, no bumper or hood.

I don't see his mind ever changing. He owns some awesome stuff and he's one of my longest running friendships. He owns a 02 1500 pick up with a turbo 5.3 making over 1k. a 56 chevy with a 400+ cubic in sbc. a 02 ss SLP anniversary comaro. a 17 ss 1le. some really nice gm stuff.

BUT HE DID OWN A FOX BODY. lol!!

Alignment is done. Of course it took some major adjustments and I didn’t re sweep the caster after making them. So the wheel is a hair off center which drives me nuts but I’ll be going back once the suspension gets some use.

Wot tuning hasn’t even started to become a thing. Still going through drivability logs to get it right. Hoping to hit the rollers sometime next week. That’s if my wife allows me. Working 10 hours and coming home to wrench another 4 has her worn out.
