Agreed, 275 is not a wide enough tire. 285 is a must IMO, unfortunately not much is available. I settled for the Cooper Zeon/MT Street (same thing) tires which do not protect the lip of the rim AT ALL. A 285 Pirelli would but as a package cost twice as much. Can get 285 BFG all seasons but the side wall of those looks like an offroad tire so... no.For anyone who hasn't ordered a set of these yet, here are a couple of observations that I noticed after installing mine. I got a staggered set of satin black - 19x10 and 19x11 - and I had Nitto Invos mounted on them (275/35/19 on the front and 325/30/19 on the rear). For comparison sake, I am lowered with an Eibach Pro Kit. The 325/30/19 pokes just a tad in the rear (maybe 1/4 inch), but looks bad ass. As for the front, the 275 doesn't provide as much protection for the rim as I would have liked. While it looks great as well, I kind of wish I had gone with the 285/35/19 to give me a little more bulge on the side wall for protection of the rim.
Not sure if anyone else feels the same way, but I wanted to share my two cents for anyone who has yet to make the leap. Regardless of the tires selected, these wheels kick ass.
man I might have to steal the formula for this setup. that looks awesome. :eyebulge:Here are a few additional photos from the install photo shoot. These wheels are phenomenal and have exceeded my expectations 100 fold. Huge props to @Need4SpeedMotors

Yeah l can look at those pic's all day long and after finally seeing the 19's they are the way to go, at least for me. Plus they also appear to have even more concavity than the 20's!man I might have to steal the formula for this setup. that looks awesome. :eyebulge:
I just found what I was looking for. Do you think you can run this with a Sportline drop??Well today was my wheel lottery win Went down to Need4SpeedMotors and had the AMAZING Project6gr wheels installed. They are the 19" in a smoked brushed finish with MPSS front 275/35/19 rear 325/30/19. I want to say a very special thank you to Paul and Edgar :hail::hail::hail: They are true professionals and I appreciate their service, superb product and amazing friends. From the bottom of my heart thank you!!!! I'll post up some more photos tomorrow and stay tuned for some better quality photos Edgar took
Did someone say bronze!?!?! Consider me sold on a set of those!Hey everyone, Hope your well well.
More wheels are going out today and we have a surprise for you guys wanting some bronze goodness on your rides !
Yes we have a few members rocking the 325 rearsPresently running rear 305/30/19s and fronts are 275/35/19s I do not recommend these sizes. First of all there is 2mm of tire before tapping curb. I am crossing my fingers that I do not tap a curb. 285/35 on front is a must. I am hoping to fit 325/30 on rear. Are there any members running 325/30s on their Project 6GR wheels???
yep custom finish, we just installed a set of 20s we had at the finisher bring done in a brushed antique gloss bronze.Did someone say bronze!?!?! Consider me sold on a set of those!
