That's right, Aaleck. Mustang orders were not scheduled on February 5th and will not be scheduled of February 12th.

Yep, orders are scheduled on Thursdays, Slade. However, the Mustangs won't be scheduled this week. You won't see any changes in COTUS until the end of next week. Feel free to shoot over a PM with your dealer code and order number; I can help track your Mustang as well.

The partial VIN that your dealer is seeing are the characters that don't change. I've found this link to be helpful: VIN Example

Most of your delay is due to your dealer's allocation. He either doesn't have any or he assigned you a priority number that put you behind his other orders.

However, now that Ford isn't pulling any orders at all your dealer's allocation doesn't matter. At least not until they start pulling orders again.

Find out what your priority # is and what your dealer's allocation is or how much he's asked for if he doesn't have any.

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question -- I'm new to all this. My car has a blend date of tomorrow. So what does this delay mean for me? Any guesses? So far, my EDD hasn't changed. It's still 3/3. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Blend date is normally the build date. But, with what's going on right now...who knows what will happen. COTUS is in it's infancy stage...and is not always "up to date."

Seems like much is on "hold" right now. We might learn more tomorrow from Rachael...our Ford Serv. Rep. that monitors us and helps with our "issues" and questions. She is more reliable...for sure...than COTUS.

Me too.. my blend date was 2/3, still shows Awaiting Shipment, maybe I'll have some good news in the morning.

Although interestingly, my car now shows up on my dealers website as in their inventory, maybe that means it's leaving the factory to head to them?

So my dealer has a car that was order on 1/14/15 then build complete on 1/30 and has ETD 2/17. I just got this car deal final on Saturday. Just so happen when I went back to my dealer again to order they had this car on order for them. Now it's mine whenever it gets here. I just hope if there's any issues it's taken care of now I can. It's weird how fast the dealership was able to order one and almost get delived in a month.

I did ask about allocation and the dealer stated no problems there...they were in good shape. I asked for and got a Priority # 10.

I'm thinking it has to do with whatever holdup is on right now. If it's about quality control or along those lines, then I'm fine with the wait. Just gives me more time to gather more for the down payment.

Yes, since you only ordered a week ago, your "delay" is just as you stated.
