all of them
We've done Mustangs with Prochargers before, but this one is a little different. The owner brought us the car with the Procharger already installed and wanted to do a little twist on it. He wanted an smaller diameter pulley for more boost, but a waste gate on the intercooler piping to regulate boost pressure, and allow for a better torque and turning a procharger into a TORQUE MONSTER. With this kind of setup he will be able to run different amounts of boost up to the max psi that the pulley produces.

Placement of the red Tial blow off valve and wastegate was definitely important. From the outside others had to know that this Mustang was something special. We decided to mount them on each side of the intercooler so that they'd show in the lower part of the front bumper. Their red color definitely makes their presence known.

The small diameter pulley can produce about 20 psi of boost, but the wastegate will be able to regulate it. The Tial BOV is located under the MAF on the left side of intercooler, which Would cause distorted readings. To solve this, we relocated the MAF to the cold-side intercooler pipe. we also added a PMAS Hpx Frequency Maf to allow the proper scaling for this setup This smoothed out readings and allowed us to get accurate data while tuning.

While we were under the hood, we upgraded the crank sprocket and oil pump gear as preventative maintenance, since they are known to fail. Once all of the fabrication was done, it was pulled onto our Dynojet for some tuning.

After some work on the Dyno this thing laid down an Impressive 702whp and 575wtq at 13 pounds of boost. The tune was Done through Hp Tuners. The blue lines are from the previous tune with the procharger before the smaller pulley and other modifications we did this time around. It's definitely a substantial increase in power

Wow, very nice set up.

I may need to look into this for my Procharger set up in the future...looks like significant improvement on the dyno!

Honestly the extra power is unbelievable:eyebulge:. but the way the cars power hits now is unreal. It comes on so fast and hard way more fun then the old setup.

Wish you would have done a 9 psi pull to see the real gain of the wastegate
If you look at the graph and see where it hits 9psi and see where the power is at. It looks like around 5000 it hits 9si, the tq is way higher. The car ramps the same up to 9psi and the power would just level off if set to hold at 9. So the tq would almost be the same as running 13psi witch is way higher then the old setup. And the hp is a decent amont higher then the old setup at 9psi.

Looks like you pullied way down. With the 3.33 on my Paxton and Wastegate setup I see 2psi higher pretty much once boost kicks in until the wastegate opens. Yours is like 4psi higher. Very impressive.

Thanks man its awesome I highly recommend anyone with a centrifugal supercharger to run a wastegate.

Looks good and clean.

What I like is that I am already at this level without the wastegate. Lol

I want over 600bs with my setup.

Thanks appreciate it, Travis over at PSI PROFORMANCE was great to work with. He took a awesome setup to the next level.

Haha Dude I know I was looking at it earlier you car makes a ton of power. You'll make it no problem. How the power hits is awesome, I was wondering when i was going to see you on thread. lol

I just want to say for anyone regretting not doing the D1 upgrade don't because the P1 is badass. Right over 700 with pump gas seems pretty good to me. Eventually I'll have PSI do a return fuel line and some E85 and see what she does.
