Mind you I am a bit of a newb, so go easy me :D

I occasionally get some throttle surge, but it is very unpredictable and I haven't been able to catch it in a log. I have to have throttle pressure semi firm and it bucks at about 3K.

I have noticed that my vacuum guage (PP) pressure goes up the instant I push on the throttle, then immediately falls back down.

Is this the sign of a possible leak?

guess i should have also mentioned. I don't let off the throttle. It increases when I initially add pressure, then quickly goes back down without lifting off the throttle.

That gauge is not that accurate as your GT doesn't have a pressure sensor. It's a value based on the MAF, but what the calculations do it's very hard to determine meaning in what you are seeing.

Agree on the accuracy of the gauge, but yes, the moment you press the accelerator your vacuum decreases.
