I just ordered a Procharger D1. Im having John Lund do a remote tune. He is asking what pulley size. Does anyone know the standard pulley size for D1? He thought maybe 4.88.

Thanks

Mine came with a 4.75 with my D1, most kits do come with the 4.88. When ordering from Terry at Beefcake racing I let him know my goal of 700+ hp on 93 pump gas. Guessing that is why I got the 4.75 instead of the 4.88.

I think it is 4.88 unless otherwise specified. I have a 4.75 but have headers and a GT350 IM while revving to 7500rpm.

So I just talked to Lethal but they weren't able to give an exact size. Basically they talk to Procharger, tell them what boost I want and what my mods are, and they send the necessary pulley.

How much boost are you running? Have you dyno'd the car yet? I'm curious where I will be at 10lbs with Stage 2 and D1 head unit. I've heard the D1 at 10lbs should make as much power as a P1 at 12lbs. Not sure how accurate that is.

I'm aiming for 10lbs off the top. Once I get headers and OPG, I'll bump it up to 12lbs.

Yes, my car has been on a dyno I was at 14 pounds of boost on 93 pump gas and here in Houston. Your elevation, quality of gas, etc are going to factor into your numbers. Another guy here has a 4.88 pulley and he is around 12 pounds of boost if I remember correctly.

4.88 pulley is the biggest pulley you can fit under the hood with the stage 2 kit and D1SC. That's what I was told by ProCharger directly and that's what I use. I'm seeing almost 13 PSI by 7300 RPM with my Lund tune.

with a d1, we always tell people to stick with the stock 4.88 pulley.

the d1 will make alot of power on these cars, the 4.88 could touch the hoodliner, so you may need to pull that.

but if you take the rpms up to 7800-8k, it's gonna eat :)

Beefcake, I have talked to a few other that are running the 4.75. Is that going to give more or less boost? I want to make sure to get the correct pulley to stay around 12lbs of boost with stock motor.

Smaller pulley = more boost

D1 and p1 make the same power at the same boost. They have identical boost curves. The d1 shines up near max impeller speeds which is higher than the p1. Procharger has already confirmed this.

Man everyone seems to have different boost levels,i have a d1 with a 4.75 pulley and at 7k rpms i am just at 10 or a hair over 10 psi. This is comfirmed with a new mechanical guage. If u dont want anymore then 10 psi go with the 4.88,but just know u wont hit 10 psi until your at the top of the rpm limit.

4.75 i was at ~12psi at 7700 I do have catless headers which supposedly lowers the registered psi. I cannot verify that as i had the headers prior to boost. Now I sit at 12.5 with a 4.38 pulley, but that is wastgated.
