Its very possible, but then again, that's a shop car. Even if daily driven he might be not too concerned about cruising smoothness or an Engine Light.
It is daily driven. It does drive smooth according to him. He is also doing the same to customer's cars.

When you unplug the inlet on a procharger, you are told to just leave that line from the IMRC hang there uncapped.

I had a Paxton Novi2200 before on a previous car and never had ANY hint of surging. So I cant really point the finger at the centris.
Previous coyote lacked IMRC's

Didnt think about that. Hmm. So if we disconnect the IMRCs and have a tune adjusted for it, the only thing thats negative about it is the MIL?

I've disabled the IMRC in my tune to try a few things out. It did not fix anything, left them open. I've been trying other settings though that change their rate of opening etc and that fixed it some. The rest could be cured by nixing the pcv running breathers, a plastic inlet, and a bullet style valve.

If you set the tune properly you won't see a check engine.

I have 2 options for getting the Boss Intake Manifold to fit. I think lowering the engine 3/4" will really pinch off the rubber 90 off of sc outlet.

Option 1: get painted roush hood scoop and cut hood. Place scoop over cut. Allows for another 2" of clearance.

Options 2: buy the watson cowl hood. About 4x the cost but would look better.

SMH. The wife is not going to be happy.

Might be cheaper to have a new outlet tube fabbed up?

What about just finding a 2011-2014 stock intake and tuning the IMRC out??

I think the supercharger can overcome any flow issues. What are we talking about? 10-20 hp. maybe?

Just an FYI I dropped the motor on a customers car with the Steeda mounts 3/4 so his strut tower brace would clear the TVS blower. The engine went so low the front off the oil pan rested on top off the EPAS and the entire dash and rear view mirror shake and rattle. Takes away from the car..

Might have an issue with the Boss manifold/procharger kit. Guy on another forum said that he was able to get the Boss intake manifold to clear the hood with dropping motor 3/4" (UPR mounts) and it cleared the hood without hitting. However, he never went through with Boss and procharger kit together because the 3/4" drop would throw off the procharger kit and it would no longer fit. Hmm.... I guess I can see 3/4" throwing everything off too much. It is already real tight in there with Procharger piping, especially the rubber elbow off the SC outlet that goes to bypass.

I wonder if I could get away with just lowering it a 1/2" and having a really snug fit with the hood. 1/2" won't throw off procharger kit too much.

One hurdle after another!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks. I am glad I didn't go that avenue. Good to know.

I greatly dislike PC's tone about it, placing the blame on the consumer for installing it incorrectly. I definitely dislike it when I had one the best shops in the country install mine and they now have to completely reroute the valve and install a new inlet tube.
By no means was I saying we are perfect,...
But if we don't see it, we don't know. Its that simple.

Meaning we never had a car do it.
C7's that make 900+ HP haven't done it (they use same part)
The high HP BETA 2015 Mustangs with 700+rwhp on HO kits didn't do it.

This "inlet" issue seems to have popped up, with the addition of people wanting to run the race valve
(which if not trimmed just perfect, pushes onto the inlet tube) or other trimming issue that causes the collapse to be pronounced.

Again, we have already switched the inlet tube.
One member already has it, and states its working great.

Thats the beauty of this forum.
We saw the issues (after seeing a video)
We found a replacement part (we already had them here)
We issued an engineering change,
Done and Done. :cheers::headbang:

If I would have known about the bullet I would have done that. Guess I cant exchange can I?
Yeah, no mention of Bullet version or anything like that during order process, but I didn't order it from PC directly so that's no beef with them. Heck, I didn't know the oil drain line wasn't in the box until I called PC and they said it wasn't ordered by Lethal Performance when I ordered the kit. Lethal never mentioned that either. So I had to buy that separately and directly from PC, who were cool about it. I guess it's up to us to know everything a vendor makes and decide for ourselves what's best when ordering a "kit." Good / bad.
I would have gone with this option had I known... Only option when I purchased kit was the standard and the race. Never heard of the bullet style until recently.
We make thousands of parts in this building.
It would be impossible to explain every part to everyone.
We are a manufacture, we do NOT sell systems directly.

Our kits are designed to work as they come with the standard kit, all parts included, and tuning. (In this case HO/STG2)
At the end of the day 99% of our customers will never need anything past the standard system that we sell (tuning included)
Changing things around is up to the end user/installer to handle.
I am sure you can understand.

I mean damn half of my stuff got damaged from shipment.
We do everything possible to ensure a safe shipment, however somedays in a rare case it seems FedEx does some sort of magic and finds a way to damage one of our boxes. Anyone that has opened our boxes, knows how well we pack things to do everything possible to ensure no damage.

Obviously we have no issues getting you taken care of, as we did :)

PC, again I ask. What about the people who already bought?
We have no plans to "retrofit" this item at this time.
Since there is no issue at the stock power/boost levels.
(when properly installed, with no "dent" placed in the tube)
