Meth might be my best route. Was just trying to keep it simple by staying air to air, which is still a possibilty if i go with a custom garrett or bell core air to air

Prochargers def blow some HOT HOT air and need good intercoolers once they are spun up good. I used to hit 220*F with my F1A @ 15psi on my hemi 300C HO kit.

You get that Whipple on yet?

Maybe a bit more.
You know what would be neat and save some money, use the windshield washer tank and pump. Put a T and run that to the intake. Only question is, does the pump flow enough.

Flow is not the problem, pressure is. need pressure to atomize the meth mix into fine mist.

Not sure what a methanol pump puts out as far as pressure.

Someone should be able to come up with a budget setup using the stock windshield reservoir. On/off setup no controller.

There was a guy on here that bought an aftermarket intercooler for his paxton kit because he bought the kit used without the intercooler. He had good luck with it. The real problem is that you live in FL. You need to move to canada lol.

Lol no matter what the starting temp is, i see a 60 degree temp
Rise at 15psi. When its 100 out here its bad. If i were to run in 50-60 even 70 degree air here during the winter id be fine. Tune isnt set to start pulling timing until 150 IAt's. But at 165 the other day it pulled 2.5-3 degrees.

Well, not realllllllly.

So the F1A is a pretty middle of the road blower when it comes to temp per psi.... Thats why units like the F1A94 were created that have a much lower temp per psi.

Then you have new generation blowers like the D1X and P1X that ALSO have crazy low IAT's per psi. :)

So if you compare something like a F1R (that has 15+ year old technology) then yes its a pretty hot little blower if used outside its window of operation.

We pretty much OWN every single racing class with supercharger tech, and hold loads of records... thanks to our killer units. :)

I normally don't pull timing till 150 or so, thats pretty normal.
Not really the end of the world by anymeans.

But I have tested loads of intercoolers on these cars, and can say without a doubt... we have one killlllllller unit in the STG2 :)

Well I installed one of your stage 2 kits on a customers car and was impressed with the intercooler size. I already called and got a price for your stage 2 IC, A bit more expensive than getting a one off garret core custom IC, but not bad. Not sure who's cores you use or have your own.

We use 3 US based high-quality core vendors... and since there are about (3) that make cores here in the US, that kinda narrows it down. ;) So without giving away too many details, that basically answers the question. :)
