Stage 2 crank pulley? And the P1X is much nastier than the sc-1. on mine to make 16 @ 58,000 blower rpm with 63K max 21 sounds about right in dense air.
Yes Im on the the 15-17 stage 2 crank pulley, 8". MAK inlet as well - full stage two kit with 3.85" 8 rib pulley rev to 7600 which puts the P1 impeller speed at 64748 rpm (65000 max). What pulley size are you running to get 16psi?

Hey guys i really think the vct setting plays a big part in how much boost we see.It is just way too much difference in.boost between what guys are seeing with the same pulley at the same rpm.Weather and mods play a little factor but not as much as some are reporting with same pulley and running same rpm.@whatsup62,procharger told u to use a 4.5 or 4.3 pulley to reach 14psi on a d1x??

Yes..called them after I got the head unit. Told them what pulley I had (3.85) on the stage 2 P1SC-1 system and was seeing 14 - 14.5psi. Then said I wanted to stay in the same psi range to start. Their recommendation was actually the 4.38" for 15ish or 4.5, 13-14ish.
Getting ready to do the install in the next couple of weeks. I have a 4.75, 4.63 and a 4.5 (along with the 3.85 I already have). Going to start with the 4.75 and see where it puts me.

agree it plays a part as well, but not huge unless the tuning is jacked.

Damm.i.just bought a 4.63 and wish i would have went with a 4.5.I was at 15 according to my boost guage at 7500 rpm,but have changed to a 18 intake.Dont think that will effect boost much but will see this weekend.

I find that hard to believe. Im running the 3.85 on the P1SC-1...not the same I realize but should be in the ballpark....and Im at 14psi maxing out the P1SC-1. I have a D1X waiting to go on and wanted to be in the same psi range. Called PC and they recommended the 4.5 or 4.38.
I found it hard to believe too honestly, but ProchargerTech confirmed the X series blowers really take off in the upper RPMs.

I had a 3.85", wastegated but my gate spring was too stiff and it wasn't opening enough. I saw 19-20psi around 8k with the gate partially open so with no gate I'm sure it would be 21 or more. I was catted at the time though and still had the stock intake manifold so those helped it be higher.

18 manifold will drop boost a few psi. That manifold loves to rev though I would up your limiter.

I am now running a 4.1 pulley, but i run on e85 only.I would stay on your 4.6 if you are running on 93 only, with no head studs or gaskets.I make 17 psi of boost with that pulley.
