I had a random one yesterday after a drive in the mountains around Brisbane - the reverse lights, camera and sensors wouldn't come on when engaging reverse, but once the gearbox cooled down everything worked fine?

It was very random, that's for sure.

The only issue I have is a small paint imperfection on the boot lid.
It looks like there was a paint bubble that burst and it left a small 3mm indent on the paint. You can only see it under the lights in certain angles so I just left it.

Has anyone else had an issue with their entire sound system muting itself? The muting isn't the issue of course, but un-muting it when it occurs certainly is. It's happened to mine a couple of times, including today, and when it has I've unplugged the iPod, iPhone, removed the SD Card, turned the car off and opened the door then closed it, turned the engine on and plugged everything in again. The first time it seemed to right itself by fluke after I'd had the car off in the garage for a couple of days. I'm of course hoping it's back up and running when I return to it post work today as well.

I googled the issue and noticed it is something which has occurred to others. If anyone here has had it occur what did you do to un-mute it and to stop it from reoccurring?

Thanks muchly!

Edit: fired the car up again after work today and it's all working again, just like last time. Not sure how or why it occurs in the first place though.

My 300C is obviously very jealous of my new addition in the garage and decided to spit the dummy and throw up the check engine light this morning. Cant blame her though - would be like me sharing the house with brad pitt lol

my drivers side Pony Light has now grown a blotch above the back of the pony as a separate image and its obviously a problem with the lens or similar
I understand I am not the 1st to have this happen and its 1st service is next week so the dealer can sort it out.
Anyone else getting a less than perfect pony image?

Seems to be a common problem, had my light replaced last week. The dealer will need to order you a new light unless they already have one in stock. It is a 5 min job to replace. Mine had an alien riding the pony.

Seems to be drivers side only from what I have read, so maybe the vibration of opening and closing the door is causing it?

I had my dealership adjust mine last week. It's alot better after the adjustment but not 100% perfect. I haven't seen a bonnet that is 100% perfect as yet.

Here is more details from the UK posts that show pics before and after. The Oxford White pic on page 2 really shows the issue up.

Hope that helps.
The problem appears to be that the bonnet and bumper don't actually match up - the curve is different. The 'fix' (raising the bonnet) just gives the perception of better alignment. Better than 'the pinch' in my opinion though.

Mine is certainly better after the dealership moved the bonnet catch to what is now it's max vertical position. Not 100% but a hell of a lot better. The guys tried to adjust the bumpers as well, but couldn't get it to 100% perfect.

Haven't seen one that's 100% perfect as yet so at the end of the day I am driving an awesome car and I don't let what is now a slight panel alignment issue bother me. :D

Let's not talk about the paint defect issue from the plant that is seeing my drivers door at the panel shop now. That one was bothering me.

Love my GT !!!! :ford:

My driver side pony projection started to break up, has a crack through it.
Had the first service 2 days ago. Dealer told me they need to replace the whole mirror unit, which they ordered from Melbourne.
Doesn't sound right, why can't they just change the projector / light...

Considering they have after market lenses for sales in the states I'm surprised at this :frusty::frusty:

That is a load of rubish the light pops out and is a 5 min job to replace I have had mine done.
