Exactly the same with my 2019 model, the mirrors just don't have the correct range and as has been said before the passenger side will not dip far enough to see the kerb when parking.

Actually on the subject of mirrors why don't they auto fold in lock? Anyone know?
It's hardly worth the bother for all they fold anyway, but did someone not have a solution to this? Then all you need to worry about is the paint around the mirrors wearing excessively...

It’s part of the half arsed RHD conversion, the mirrors are built for LHD cars, stand at the front of the car and look at the mirrors, they aren’t symmetrical, one sweeps back more than the other. It’s the same story with the handbrake being on the wrong side of the centre console.

The handbrake being on the "wrong" side of the console was the same in my old Focus, Altough its good when you have a nice young lady in the passenger seat and you accidentally brush their thigh reaching for the handbrake

There is an easy fix for the angle of the mirror too.

Take the glass off (very carefully it will unclip without breaking) then remove the whole mounting plate and motor assembly (four screws)

Then replace the whole motor assembly however add 2 mm worth of washers to the outside upper and lower fixings so it angles the entire assembly in towards the car more, mostly you do not need longer screws, but you can fit then if you wish too, if you find you need more than 2mm worth of spacing, then longer screws will be needed.

Re-fit the glass, a voila, you have a mirror that you can adjust to see the side of the car nicely.

It's more to know (visually) that I've locked it. I've owned enough Ford's to know the paint is shite, but I still get disappointed by it.
