Cognizantphotos congtats on your great buy! I live in atlanta and actually I've been to the dealer you got the car from for a test drive on 2015 EB Premium. I wish I can buy one right now but I am in saving mode and I see good price on 2015 EB (like one in tampa and Warner Robins) that I wish I had enough down payment saved up to go grab them at 2k below x-plan pricing. End of model year sales are soooo good it blows x-plan out of water. It is even more surprising that you got the deal not on left over 2015 but on 2016 preorder.

I think I learned more about car deals from just this one thread than many other threads Ive read in the past.

Also I love the fact that you got the car in Deep Impact Blue. That is my favorite color along with Yellow one.

Again, congrats on your "purchase" or "steal" whatever you want to call your deal.

LOL! Thanks trust me, i didn't learn until i entered the "business". My first car purchase was 2006 i was 20, and boy did that dealer work a number on me. I came with x-plan pricing in hand (i worked at home depot at the time), but they financed me at 18% for 80 months! Boy did i lose on that deal lol, once i started working at a dealer all that changed, one thing i learned is if you think you're desperate to buy a car, most dealers are 10x worse to sell it. Stay calm, don't name a price, and get everything on paper, that way you can shop the deal around.

I tried every dealer from Orlando down, I'm talking east coast, west coast, down to the keys! What I did was I created a spreadsheet placed every dealer I contacted in it, and every time I knew negotiations were over with that dealer I just scratched them off.

Thats why i don't understand people settling for x-plan negotiate dammit so many good prices out there waiting to be gotten.

X plan is a decent backup, or good for someone who hates haggling, I enjoy it and plan on beating X plan. :cheers:

Apparently I'm not done negotiating MSRP $39,695 Current Offer $35,850.

So finally got my car!

got to AutoNation Margate with intentions to order my car.

MSRP $39,695
Was going to order at $35,500

dealer had same car i wanted to order but with Nav which i don't care about.

MSRP about $41k

after some back and forth the manager finally budged and gave me the car for $35,500 essentially giving me the Nav for free.

After all the incentives car came out to $33k!!!
