id tape the whole front end to keep rockchips down. only larger size rocks will rip a chip hole in the tape. Less likely to chip.

Example.
+1 to this, for real, even if he isnt.

This paint is extremely thin and I have already picked up a few rock chips from in town highway driving.

8hrs on a major 2 lane you never know.

Used a Novastrech front mask on a road trip to Finger Lakes. Worked like a charm. set it and forget it. It does keep the front away from bugs.

I remember I did a near non-stop run a few years back from NYC to Tallahassee and timed myself - 17 hours, only stopping to fill-up. I felt like Kowalski :cool:
Haha I did it in my old Jeep with 35 inch tires on it. No such thing as going fast in that thing.

The best was fighting the wind shear off big rigs doing 70+ on 95. White knuckled a couple times for sure.

OP, be glad you're doing this in a good car lol
