Preowned GT Prices Rising For 15-17

Has anyone been noticing the used prices on these going up? My friend was looking at certified preowned, mint. The prices have been higher than I had thought. Could be that to replace, the car would cost much more in 2019.

Of course. Right on this site I see lesser equipped 15s with twice the miles listed and selling for more than I paid for mine.

I don't think the prices are coming down anytime soon, so yeah, I guess a 2015-17 is the under $35K bargain of the century now.

Excellent. Wonder if a 16 Comp Orange will be one of the higher as they cancelled the color after 16 and it has the hood turn signal lights that were also cancelled. $350,000 in 2050 here I come! Ok maybe not.

In all seriousness a good trade in value on the S650 or 2020 would be nice.

Mine isn’t going up in value. If anything the ‘16s have slowed down from the rapid depreciation of the first two years from what I can see.

The S550 Mustangs are a hot item. As long as they continue to be, resale values will stay strong as supply and demand will dictate.

Saw a local ad selling a V6/auto with 20k kilometers on it asking $32k.
My only thought was "Honey, that's more than you paid for it!"

Here in vancouver Wa I checked the S550s that were just like mine( GT PP Base 19k miles) and the cheapest one I found was above 27k. I payed 28250 for mine 2 years ago with 8500 miles. I honestly thought my car would be worth 24 to 25k.

I negotiated $27k trade in for my 15 GT Premium with 13k on it. They turned around and put it on the lot for $32.9k and sold it a few months later.

It's a good time to pick up a new 2018 with the rebates. I got my base GT for a little over 30K. When I was cross shopping I could not even come close on any Camaro RS or SS.

Since getting the brides '18 I've been looking to upgrade from my S197 to a S550. The used ones in the southeast in some instances are as much, or more for a used base GT than it is for a new one. That I don't understand. One would think the pre-owned dealers would know that this will send me to the new car showroom when I'm ready.
