Looking to add a aftermarket sub as they seem to be easy to install by tapping into existing speaker wiring in back window with just 12v and a ground with auto on feature.

However I have seen a couple of OEM subs on eBay. Can the OEM unit be wired in the same way? I suspect not. Has any one added the OEM unit to the premium 9 speaker system? If so how difficult is it? Thanks.

I don't believe so. It's my understanding that if you have the 9 speaker system, Ford did not run the wiring to the trunk for the sub.

But he can buy my entire MFT, with speakers, sub, both amps and connectors (have to run his own wiring).
