Can I add a B&O sub to basic speaker setup 2018 GT Premium? (car came without a sub)

I have the blue socket in the passenger side trunk area, so I believe I can add the original Shaker sub if I change the DSP. My question is can I add the B&O sub to the car? Do I need to get the same DSP as I would with Shaker sub?

I added a 12" sub in a custom enclosure and it blows the b&o away!

I don't think you have the correct amp either so it is not as simple as just plugging it in.

I'm looking to get this DSP: FR3T-18T806-CP. If this works with both the Shaker amp and the B&O, then I might as well take the B&O.

I don’t know whether or not that amp will work. Says 15-17 which is pre b&o.

I abandoned mine and installed a new amp in the wheel well. It was easy and sounds much better.

That still doesn’t address the issue that basically no one here is satisfied with the b&o sub and works to replace it asap.

There’s the Shaker system which was pre B&O. The amps are not the same. The B&O uses a canbus system in the DSP amp to communicate with the APIM. Simply throwing in a B&O amp in a 2015-2017 or a car that didn’t come with the B&O system won’t work.
