I'm pretty sure i saw a thread where someone modified the base bumper to work but depending on how much i can get a premium bumper for it might not be worth messing with

I'd think any decent body shop and cut and fit and of the rear valances to a base bumper. There have been guys on here that did it themselves. To paint and prep a rear bumper has got to run $400-600 unless you've got a good paint hookup plus the cost the of the bumper.

You're best bet is Craig's List and eBay. There's a guy selling a white premium bumper for $200 in my area. I'd be all over it if it was magnetic.

The paint work i can do for the material cost since i have access to a shop. I just can't see spending well over 1k for the gt350 rear. At that point i can just fab mine and make it look good

Levittown is where I got mine. Vendor on here. Around $400 for the premium bumper and OEM premium valence. I dropped it off for paint today.

You have to have the valence and Premium rear bumper

You just need the premium bumper. The premium valence you do not need. Because the GT350 exhaust comes with the valance that attaches to the premium bumper. You will also have to remove the lower portion attached to the premium bumper that is normally painted to the body color.
