I have a 19' Eco with the premium 9 speaker system in it and I've read through all the threads on here I can find but there is so much info. I basically just want to replace the front woofers, mid's, tweet's with direct fit, plug and play replacements and also replace the rear woofers with some co-ax's.

So once I replace the speakers I am to use Forscan to flatten the signal out and remove the bass roll-off? Do I have that correct? If so, what is the code I need to change and to what??

I am also going to tap into the rear speaker signal to run to an aftermarket amp running a 10" sub in the trunk.

I'm just looking for a basic upgrade for now as I just got the car and don't wanna go crazy on the sound system yet. Am i on the right track here or no?? Any info or comments are welcomed. Thanks!

I just did the same thing... PM if you need any help. It took me about 3 months of work and research off and on. Replaced the DSP / Amp with the Shaker Amp and upgraded the speakers. The 3.5"'s i placed just barely fit, had to modified the mount slightly.

Note: The rear deck is rolled off pretty high so sub-woofer output from it will not be appropriate. You would need to pull off of the front woofer's door channels. Splice in under kick panel near amp, that is what I chose to do.

I am now working on the sub-woofer's input. I don't like the speaker level input and trying to get a line from the Shaker DSP I installed.

Read the sticky post on this forum it is very detailed.
