when I ordered my 19 in 2018, selecting the pp2 pkg the 6spd mt82 was the only option for trans. I ordered 401 pkg and leather recarro and glad i did, love this car

If I remember correctly PP2 got expensive in 2020 so that might be why. If the 401a car had PP2 it would be more yet.

I ordered my 2020 PP2 401a, red leather premium seats (I wish I got the recaros) fully loaded but I didn’t want active exhaust. Msrp was $51k but I paid $49k to keep it under luxury tax in CT. BTW I love my PP2 , handles like a dream

One year of owning the car, and tired of having to select the exhaust mod EVER time. I started the car was a PIA, all day every day.

Cut them off the car got back 400 bucks, installed axle backs, problem solved.

The Recaro seat could not give me those.

PP2 is one hell of a car, like it better than the 350. The finish is better under the hood and like the front/grill. Looks good without the strips.

The most recent mod was on the center upper console. Radio knobs and mode switches.

Notice how the shift knob now blends in. That was an unexpected surprise,

I have some 2020 PP2 questions for the PP2 crowd:

Would a 2020 PP2 w/401A and the Safe & Smart package come with the 12-speaker system or no?

Also along the same question - was B&O not available on the 2020 PP2’s?

I passed on AE because it always sets back to quite mode on start up (I want to always hear my baby). And I was talked out of the recaros by dealer but I wish I got them. Anyone out there have red leather and looking to sell or swap for the premium seats ?

I set my desired exhaust mode in the My Mode settings, so it's just two quick flicks on the mode switch.

AE doesn't set it back to quiet mode on start up, it sets it back to normal mode on startup. You can program quiet mode on startup when you want it but otherwise it will start in normal mode. I have a 2023 Mach 1 on order and I might go with the Borla attack that works with AE at some point. Since that would be much louder overall I'd probably have it set to start in quiet all the time and then have My Mode set to quickly go into loud mode.

This is true.
However, when you're used to Track, Normal feels like Quiet.

What I remember when ordering the only additional features/options was the recaro seats. With the 401A I believe the website selected leather recaros. Don’t quote me but I believe they were $1595.

Sorry bad phrasing. Quiet mode is programmed and a time range can be set. But if you want to hear it in a different mode when you start up you have to access the exhaust option and set it to sport or track. As you said if quite more is off it will start in normal mode by default and I personally didn’t want to have to switch it to track to hear the full exhaust sound.

Stripes were an option, but I'm not sure about the painted black roof on PP2s. Also, Rapid Red Metallic was also an added cost option.

Only thing missing is Safe and Smart package which IMO is a good thing. Not a fan of active cruise.

According to the order guide safe and smart was an option for 2020. I believe it was BLIS that came standard in 2020
