Stripes were an option, but I'm not sure about the painted black roof on PP2s. Also, Rapid Red Metallic was also an added cost option.
You couldn’t do the black roof the blackout option wasn’t available for the PP2, I thought the chrome badges on race red looked like shit but couldn’t change them.

Sorry bad phrasing. Quiet mode is programmed and a time range can be set. But if you want to hear it in a different mode when you start up you have to access the exhaust option and set it to sport or track. As you said if quite more is off it will start in normal mode by default and I personally didn’t want to have to switch it to track to hear the full exhaust sound.
Remove the resonator and install an h or x pipe. It will be plenty loud, particularly on cold start-up. My wife bitches at me if I start it before she gets in the car and shuts the door.

Lane alert was not standard in 2020 in the 301a package. You would think it would be included in the safe and sound and it’s not very strange.

Not needed, learn how to drive and be aware of one's surroundings.

Not that hard

LOL. I actually have the borla 3" stype catback with carbon fiber tips. I just swapped out the xpipe for the upgraded splitfire xpipe. I also have the roush CAI (tune required version) with Tune (+93 octane tune) and the sound is incredible plus 440 RWH due to the tune. I'm lucky, my wife loves the rumble when I start er up; hits her right in her happy place :-).

So for a 2020 GT PP2, would this be considered a fully loaded PP2 based on this example window sticker - or were there still even more options available?

Only thing missing is Safe and Smart package which IMO is a good thing. Not a fan of active cruise.

Ford Safe and Smart™ Package
• Adaptive Cruise Control
• Auto High Beam
• Lane-Keeping System (Includes: Lane-Keeping Alert, LaneKeeping Assist and Driver Alert
• Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection – Automatic Emergency Braking – Forward Collision Warning with Brake Support
• Rain-sensing Windshield Wipers
Thanks for the replies.

Ok so aside from the Safe & Smart Package, what is displayed in that 2020 PP2 window sticker snip example - the car is really loaded with almost all available options of the time? This would be excluding any metallic paint color up-charges and/or any stripe up-charges (if applicable).

I know it's nice to get things done from the factory but you can swap to black 5.0 badges and a black pony fairly easily. I presume you can do that back GT as well.

Correct, only thing I can see that it doesn’t have is safe and smart and upgraded paint or stripes.

Great - thanks all!

It just gives me some better insight when looking at 2020 PP2's and their window stickers as a quick visual "yep/nope" checklist that it has/or does not have XYZ package(s) for used price comparisons.

:)👍

Are you're in the market for a PP2? I am. Previously owned a 19 w red leather recaros and no B&O sound system. This time around I'm going for the regular seats and the good stereo. Active exhaust and 401A as well. Race Red, Black, maybe silver/gray, and I'd consider green.

What's on your menu?

Oh changing the badges was the first thing I did, easy like you said . I was just providing additional details about the ordering of the PP2 that you couldn’t select the blackout package.

@TonyNJ

Was your prior PP2 also red exterior? I had seen one last year for sale in NJ at a smaller non-Ford Dealer. It was the Rave Red with the Red leather interior - looked really nice.

As far as the menu.... LOL!!

In the market - but no decision on the next Mustang yet. It will not be a S650 by any means, the overall styling is not for me, nor do like the lock out restrictions Ford is starting to implement with the newer PCM's.

The next Mustang is either a PP2 or 2012/13 BOSS 302... I like the S550 Mach 1, but can't justify the higher prices of them right now - not when comparing the overall features between a M1 vs 2020 PP2.

I've been debating also getting rid of both my S550 and 94 Cobra, and just go down to 1 Mustang... but not sure I can relinquish the 94 Cobra ... LOL...

So I've been staking out quite a few PP2's and B302's during my online window shopping.... and some aren't moving due to asking prices, while others I've seen price drops from $3k-$5k in the last few weeks.... Dealers can't hold on to them too long, because then they're just loosing money and the car becomes a liability to them. The used car market is changing as many had predicted in 2022 Q4, so watch closely.

If you're also looking for a PP2 - aside from the wanted cloth interior, are you looking for certain other options or exterior colors?

Hey, no, it was Oxford white with Red Recaros. Race Red is one of my my choices. Not looking for cloth seats. I want the heated n cooled leather, digital dash, upgraded stereo, active exhaust, and that will do. Any color except white, yellow, or blue.

I saw a 2020 with less than 1000 miles on it, spec'd the way on want it for sale at a Ford dealership in the Midwest. Asking was 42,500. I offered 38 or so. They wouldn't budge. But someone got it recently as it's not listed anymore. It was a trade in on a GT500. Higher mileage and fewer options might put that car in the mid to high 30s from the research I'm doing. Just looking for a sweet deal on the perfect car. No rush.

Looking forward to see what you end up with. Having one car would be nice. But that's tough when you're a car nut.

What I remember when ordering the only additional features/options was the recaro seats. With the 401A I believe the website selected leather recaros. Don’t quote me but I believe they were $1595.
$1895 on my invoice fore reccaro pkg
