This will be my first time attending one of their events. I know some Audi and Porsche guys that attend. What part of MD are you coming from?

Picked up this preowned yesterday. Do PP2s come with 325 cup2 in the back? Every where I’ve seen they have square 305s. 51542796-C080-4178-A7D2-B2A8E8E7B431.jpeg F2A1A6B1-27CA-49E0-92D3-A08E58CACA9C.jpeg

For the record...2019 Kona PP2 active exhaust, Recaro's, and 301A.

If I come it will be from northern Baltimore County area.

So I bought a Blowfish Racing trans brace from a member here over six months ago and never got around to putting it on. Had a 2-3 lockout at about 6800 and decided it was time. The lift I use was unavailable so I put her up on jack stands and slithered under. Here are pics of what I found:

Ran the part number through the White Bear Lake Ford site and it's called a "damper assy". I was wondering if everyone has this part on their PP2? Are you also running a shifter bracket from Blowfish? If so did you just slide the bracket between the damper and the trans? Did the bolts have to come all the way out?

Sorry for the blurry pics, couldn't get my phone any further away to get an angle or focus. IMG_0567.jpeg IMG_0566.jpeg IMG_0571.jpeg IMG_0570.jpeg IMG_0569.jpeg IMG_0568.jpeg

I just watched the American Muscle video on how to install the Blowfish bracket. I dont think it will fit based on this new damper Ford installed. I too just purchased the bracket, i guess I'll be returning it. Here's the link, start at 3:45.

I'm thinking the bracket will be more useful and is worth replacing the damper. Hoping to hear some feedback from those who agreed and whether or not it's worth doing.

That is just a mass damper its really not needed. You need to source the shorter bolts from the 2011-17 MT-82 crossmember and replace them. Also if you can, return the blowfish bracket (which is a good piece) and step up to a MGW Race Spec, you won't regret it. BTW lock out is still clutch related.

I didn't even think about the bolt length, thanks for the insight. I'd love that shifter but for $475 when I got the blowfish bracket for $160...

I hated the MT82D4 gearing so much I swapped it all out for 2017 spec MT82 and associated Exedy clutch etc. That was an adventure, but in the end I am happy again on the Road Courses.
