No, it's not a fetish ...

I have two sets of PP wheels, and I planned to run a square setup at the track, rear wheels on both axles, 19x9.5 with 285/35.

But, mounting the rear wheels on the front causes minor rubbing between the wheel and my Koni yellows. Static clearance is very tight, maybe 2mm. Turning the steering wheel 1/4 turn causes rubbing. Rear wheel offset is 52.5mm, and you need a bit more to be comfortable. I may use camber bolts to get the wheel away from the strut, and camber plates to get the neg camber I want.

Yes to run the 9.5s on the front you need a 5 mm spacer

Use a 5 mm spacer it will solve it for you, you need it for the strut clearance.

Can you get hub centric 5mm spacers? If not, how do you center the wheel?
