I love everything about the package except the ride. I need to find a regular GT owner who wants to swap suspension. It isn't SUPER stiff, but I don't track my car and would prefer a slightly softer ride daily.
Have you driven a non-PP GT and felt the body flex when hitting a pot-hole? The PP upper and lower bracing is awesome. Let some air out of your tires. :)

Not everyone wants a GT car with a stiff ride.

My 2015 GT PP rides 10x better than my 2012 GT premium w/o Brembos did. I think it could be firmer LOL. I'll be fixing that with springs soon.

some people in here are better off driving a camry than a mustang if they prefer a "comfortable ride"

Actually simply with the IRS the GT drives way better in my opinion. The 15 GT is sick base or not. I've driven the 14 and with side by side comparison I have to say, It feels different to me. Idk if it's cause they told me it drives better there for my mind thinks it drives better (placebo affect) or cause it just simply drives better. But I love my 15.

If you ever drove a previous S197 then PP or not the 2015 rides 100 times better.

Unless you are tracking the car you won't notice most of the PP upgrades; nice to have but nowhere near mandatory. Lots of people love to brag how much HP, quick 0-60, big brakes, etc and then only drive to 40mph to get groceries and back and forth to work daily, or a weekend cruise, but never using close to the potential of even the base car without the PP.

In fact I would be willing to bet 75% (probably way higher really) or more of PPs sold will be daily driver cars that never touch the potential of even the non-PP car limits where the PP is needed. It's just silly to criticize other's choices to go non-PP (or they got an auto which is a great transmission and not the autos of the past).

i have lots of respect for non PP GTs, even the autos. they're the ones putting 12.5 1/4 mile ETs bone stock, and all they need to do is stomp the gas pedal

I'm sure that if you put $2500 into a non-pp, with some well placed mods and upgrades, you should be able to do pretty good.

Yes and actually some dude just ran a 12.5@ 115 with his bone stock manual 3.55 gear option base GT (non PP).

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?p=564687#post564687

The main things I really wanted from the PP are the wheels, gauges and spoiler delete. The rest I would never use on my daily commute (mostly highway)and the only track would ever consider would be the drag strip. The wheels I can get used, of course.

I made that comment stating that the non PP GT's suck because that is what the PP owners make it sound like...
I personally love my base non PP GT and it drives/handles way better than my 12 brembo GT ever did and is perfect for my requirements.

I will probably never "use" the PP upgrades to their full ability but I'm interested in the fact that the PP can basically handle like a beamer. I drove both non-PP and PP back2back and the "glued to the road" feeling was definitely applicable to the PP, while I didn't feel that at all with the non-PP.
