PP EPAS tuning question

So I recently learned that PP cars get a different tune for their EPAS and rear-diff. I was wondering if any non-PP cars on here have asked their dealer to installed these tunes or what the likelyhood is of that being a possibility? My 15 v6 turns just fine, but if it is just a software tune to get the PP EPAS tuning I may inquire to my dealer about it. The rear-diff probably requires the PP for the hardware.

Very true. I'm asking about the EPAS during my oil change tomorrow so well see.

Our EPAS is just controlled by three different tables instead of vs just one for a V6. A tuner should be able to adjust it for you, Ford will just tell you no and that it will void warranty.

EPAS tuning has been on my mind since 2011 and I have yet to see anyone actually accomplish that.

Wow, total mind dump.

Ignore what I said, for some reason I was equating EPAS to throttle sensitivity, NOT power steering. No clue how that is controlled.

Anyone have an idea what happens to the EPAS if there is only power going to it and no computer connection? On a PP car I would think/hope that the default mode would be 'normal' and not 'comfort'...inquiring minds want to know LOL
