Not all cars received the k-brace aka cowl brace. Only the PP cars has it along with the optional 20in foundry wheels and the covertibles

Yeah, but the 20" wheel cars and convertibles only come with the K brace, not the Strut tower brace. I wish they had included the strut tower brace as well with the 20" wheels and convertibles. I'm not sure why they thought they only needed a K brace but not a strut tower brace since they pretty much work together.

Just wanted to update this thread. A few days ago I received an email reply from Tasca. I had asked them a simple question: "I'm pretty sure I ordered the 50th Anniversary Brembo calipers with the white letters. I ordered these part numbers xxx123 etc. Can you please verify?"

The reply I got was "You didn't give us your VIN so we cannot advise if you ordered the correct parts for your car. Can't advise on upgrades or any non-stock parts. Have a nice day."

Wow...how helpful.

Nobody actually reads email anymore. Well, a few of us do. Reading is not the same thing as understanding what you've just read. I asked a simple question. I didn't ask "Can you guarantee that this foolhardy upgrade idea of mine will work?" THAT, my friends, is the responsibility of the idiot with upgrade-itis to figure out. I did the research...I only wanted verification of what I ordered b/c the 50th Ann calipers and the GT PP calipers share the same part number.

I did receive that validation from you guys in this thread. Thanks very much for that. :clap2:

Sorry to bump a 2 year old thread but why post a new one when I can add more info to this potentially. Does anyone know if these part numbers are in fact the matte black brembos with red lettering?

I went on tasca site and they say they do not fit the 2015-2017 mustang but fit the 2018-2019, correct me if I'm wrong but all brembo calipers regardless of year or color on the GT are the exact same. Ford even sells the kit which is marketed to 2015-2019 GTs. Just want to see if anyone else can confirm these are those calipers and not the 4 piston continentals.

Actually, it looks like that part number is wrong. When I bought my brakes from Levittown, I e-mailed them on here, they double checked everything for me, and even checked the calipers before they shipped them out to make sure they were right. I'd contact one of the reps on here and find out for sure.

Those are the correct part numbers for the Hard Anodized Black that comes on the PP GT. "Flat" black with red lettering. All the calipers start as these then they either paint the Gloss Black or Red (50th/Bullitt) The Number changed because they are now made at Brembo's facility in Mexico rather than Italy. Same exact part from 2015-2019.

Off topic, but I know you guys deal with a lot of Mustang brake stuff, have you seen any issues with running Brembo setups with the 2015-2017 Automatic master cylinders and boosters? I noticed the 50th Anniversary auto cars that came with the Brembo brakes did use a different master cylinder that the other 6R80 cars.

Just to add to this, I contacted Steve at tasca and he confirmed them for me and they are the 6 pot brembos, black with red lettering like you said! $418 shipped new! What a steal!

That's probably just for the calipers. Optimum Performance Mustang has the best prices for the pads and hardware. I think I got the pins and clips from them for about half the price Ford sells them for.

No, just the calipers themselves. Ordered the hardware and pads separate. Went with hawk ceramics for all 4 calipers and will swap out fronts with GLOC pads if I do a track day. Not sure which ones imma get though.

What color was the original rear calipers on the 50 anniversary that had the gloss black/white brembo fronts? I might go for the 50 anniversary fronts over the PP kit that is satin/red

Lost my cross pin bolt on track and the Ford stuff was $40+ for single parts. Raybestos kit, H18225A, is ~$13 and has all the necessary hardware for both calipers.

Are they the exact same quality?
