Hello. I have about 42k miles on my 2017 GT PP. Daily driver, don't drive it hard. Original brakes. Noticed this spring when putting on my summer tires, the pads were maybe a little thin. Looking to replace them to get ahead of the wear, and also to get rid of all the dust.

Leaning towards the Power Stop Z23 pads. My question is, the Power Stop site shows Z23-1792 for the front pad kit, and Z23-1793 for the rear pad kit.

When searching on Amazon, both part number items are showing "rear" for position.

Those are the correct part numbers for the GT PP with Brembos right? I think the rear for Z23-1792 on Amazon is just a typo.

Front: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E1JVR34/?tag=powsto07-20
Rear: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AGBXJNC/?tag=powsto07-20

My rotors looked fine. No shaking when braking or anything. Shouldn't need to replace for compatibility issues right?

Thanks!

Have you considered Performance friction brake pads, the Z rate pads are similar to DS2500
If not better performance with considerablly less dust produced.

not REMOTELY helpful. Indeed their website take the prize for the most useless.
How about actual part numbers and where you buy them from?

Right but you're a supplier of PFC parts and so should know this stuff cold. The phone support is equally useless.

.10 is the Z compound
both 7761 and 1792 pad shapes are discontinued.
I can't see how anyone can think PFC is a viable choice at this rate.

As i stated previously these arent available through PFC usa, only Roush sells to Roush car owners.

it's more than that - when PFC says those shape/patterns are no longer made, and can't tell me what the new SKU is, it's a dead-end. Or are you saying I was given bad information and they are actually in production but "they lied" to conceal the fact they can't be sold in the USA because of an exclusivity arrangement with Roush, and the only way to get is to reverse-import from UK?

The mechanism for this is very odd to say the least.

As far as i am aware its only available from uk, we cover the rest of the world, so carry for european /asian/ australia/ nz markets. we can sell from here and have done to usa customers, not a problem.
