Just wondering how many are still running a stock clutch or how long you ran it with forced induction. Also if you could list power adder and RWHP numbers if you have them and if street car or drag raced. I now a lot goes into clutch wear like traction, gearing and if its drag raced.

1. Power adder?
2. RWHP?
3. Street or drag raced?
4. How long it lasted?

I've had a twin disc clutches on my 700whp 92 coupe and was not a fan of the on off nature of the twin, and with the RXT ceramics it can be real grabby and chatter as well. I know the stocker will not last forever, though for me it won't see track and will be on 275 radials with 3.73 gears so it has a chance. I just don't want another grabby freakin race clutch for my street car. Maybe there is another option than the twins.

I have a whipple SC kit with catless kooks headers and exhaust. 3000 miles on the stock clutch without any issues. My car is not a DD, it's my weekend toy. I have multiple launches and burn outs. The clutch hasn't slipped yet. I am changing it out next week at the same time that I am having my 3.73 swapped for 3.31.

Well that seems like a reasonable clutch option with good street manners. The power rating is 605 TQ and I'm sure that's a crank rating, what makes you think it will hold?

605 torque, they claim that it is roughly 44% over stock. The stock clutch is holding fine. I'm not a fan of getting too much clutch.

I would agree on that, not a fan of chatter or aggressive engagement. 44% over stock should be good for a street car. I'll get to see how it holds up on yours while I'm driving my stocker with my whipple coming in.

Yeah, if the organic disc doesn't hold up then I will swap it for act's 6 puck. I have had twin disc and doubled my torque rating int he past on other cars, it usually ended up with synchros going out.

My clutch couldn't handle factory power lol I have the RXT in it now and I dunno where people are talking about it having chatter or very on and off. This clutch is more mild to drive than the factory clutch with a lighter clutch pedal. I would go hands down with the RXT! The thing is a beast and very well made.

Just depends on driving style. After installing the whipple, I launched my car hard and broke the torsen diff and bent a ford racing shaft. Stock clutch held though and is still holding strong.

There is a very different feeling with the RXT ceramic style clutch. Firstly then engagement is always at the very top of the peddle stroke and the engagement to fully engaged is a very small window. This makes slipping the clutch normally as you would with a stock clutch difficult, makes it seem and feel more on off. Secondly the ceramic material has a tendency to not want to be slipped, it needs a fast engagement with higher rpm to keep it from shuddering and chattering. I personally don't like this feeling at all and the RST is a little better as the organic disc does slip better without chattering, but it still has the very short engagement window making it hard to slip smoothly.
