So my car has done this annoying thing since it was new where sometimes if you get on it between 2-4k rpm, it feels like it pulls every bit of timing or the throttle partially closes and its dog slow. Then as soon as you shift the power is normal, but you'll get bad rev hang after you lift. Is there some way i can track down what's doing this? I'm not sure if I'm hitting some torque limiter or the ecu is unhappy with something it sees but it's inconsistent. Just once in a while you'll get this.

It's finally annoyed me enough to investigate so any advices will be appreciated, thank you.

Could be traction control kicking in? Sounds like what I experience for a split second when I try to go WOT in 1/2/3 with TC on. Have you tried it with advancetrac off?
