So, I have purchased a Dual Camera Dash Camera, and along with it a power unit that connects into the power and will power the dash cam, but if the power gets below 12v or 11.8v ( you can set it), it'll shut down the camera to prevent the battery from getting drained.
I should have the car in the next couple weeks, but want to plan ahead since I have nothing better to do. The control unit has an input for always on power as well as ACC power. The instructions show to connect to a fuse box by pulling an appropriate fuse and wrapping the wire around a leg of a fuse then plug the fuse back in.
First, is there a fuse box in the interior to connect to?
Second, it seems hack to just wrap a wire around a fuse leg and work off that. Are there better nearly as easy ways to connect into a PWR and ACC line?
The power control is a Power Magic Pro. Essentially a box with a few wires and a cigarette lighter dongle.
