it is too iffy. they can say tomorrow will be 70 and dry, and you wake up and it is 20 and wet.

there is 50/50 odds I can drive it on any random day from this point. I might drive it for christmas. it may also be 18 degrees that day. can't tell more than a day before round here/

on edit, I should be able to do my break in this winter, any decent satuday that it is too warm to go hunt, I have 50 miles of completely striaght zero lights road near my house that has almost zero traffic, I can bed brakes and do whatever break in I want going back and forth.

Recommended break in usually varying the rpms without going over 4000 rpms for the first 1000 miles (IIRC). If you can do whatever you want on that road you will be good. 10 round trips

7k miles already? when did you get the car?

btw, there are high G forces on the chip from the factory, looks like a bench test or something, they are all pretty similiar.

I got the car a couple of weeks ago with 6,9xx miles to replace my daily driver. It sat on a dealer lot since July and prior to that it was registered as a Ford Corporate fleet vehicle. Picked it up for $57k with 150k bumper to bumper warranty and lifetime powertrain thrown in. Nobody looking for used Mach 1's I guess, so I did ok.

Edit: Also avoided the $1500 gas guzzler tax, doesn't apply to used cars.

Not necessarily. Just as likely could have been a ford exec car or one of the ones mike dean drives and posts on his Instagram. I’m not someone that buys used cars and I wouldn’t want something abused for magazine shoots but a PP car like this would be very welcome in my garage!
