PERFECT fit!New wheels went on the other day
Thanks I have Steeda Progressive springs with their shocks and struts. Wheels are Variant Argon brushes titanium 20x10 et35 275/35/20 and 20x11 et50 305/35/20. As for camber when we put it on the alignment rack it was just within specs. I want to say it was around -1.6 or 1.8PERFECT fit!
What's the specs of wheels, tires and springs and camber?
Ok, thats it - 35 profile it is for me too! Thanks I have Steeda Progressive springs with their shocks and struts. You can get 305/35 in a 20" in Europe? Wonder why that is. I know Michelin doesn't offer 305/35 in a 19".Ok, thats it - 35 profile it is for me too!
Will have to go for Pirelli PZero again though due to that Continental or Michelin haven't released 305/35 here in Europe. Can't have everything...
Thanks!
Yes - the reply from Michelin was that 275/35R20 is available until 04/07 and that 305/35R20 will be launched in Europe in July but it's unclear how quickly it will be available in Sweden - might not be until August. You can get 305/35 in a 20" in Europe? I will be running the same setup as these two gentleman when my 20's arrive. 305/30 rear 285/30 front in the 4s. The 305/30 is actually .1" shorter in diameter then optional 20" package offered on the premium. Which uses a 265/35 squared. The 305/35 in my opinion is to tall at 28.4". Thats alot of side wall. Comfy most likely but to much rubber for my taste. It is over a 1/2" taller then the already meaty 275/40r19 offered on the performance pack.Yes - the reply from Michelin was that 275/35R20 is available until 04/07 and that 305/35R20 will be launched in Europe in July but it's unclear how quickly it will be available in Sweden - might not be until August.
Continentals webpage does not list 305/35R20 either.
Actually, I know that BMW run Michelins stock while Ferrari, Porsche and Mercedes come with Pirellis.
I think Volvo run Continental. I assume Audi have Pirelli but not sure.
Pirelli also have models for Bentley and other premium/performance brands so that might be the reason why Michelin aren't available - people tend to stick to the brand specific models I assume.
And 305/35 is also a quite big sized tire - might need a yankee car to fit them to start with
Might have been better to go for 30 profile for a more slim euro but it's hard to tell until it's on the car. From what i've seen here, the 305/35 fits really good and should also give a slightly more comfy ride...
Is that the R888R on the rear? If so what size and and what wheel width? Those are on my short list if I ever get to go FI...my gooooodness
Yes, you might be right but it's a tough choice!I will be running the same setup as these two gentleman when my 20's arrive. 305/30 rear 285/30 front in the 4s.
