An update on my diamond cut stock Mustang wheels (2016), done last October. The dreaded white worm has gone into over-drive on all the wheels in the last 2 months so I decided to call it a day and sell them – I got £400/$550 from WeBuyAnyAlloys. I knew the risks, but didn’t think it would get so bad so quickly, with the wheels just 2 months out of their short 6 month warranty (either a coincidence or the big-wigs at The Wheel Specialists know exactly what they’re doing!). I might have got more for them if I had sold privately, but I’m not so sure given their current condition (ironically, if they were just polished and not diamond cut, I could have had them cheaply touched up where damaged rather than needing to complete re-cut or re-spray them). So, diamond cut - never again! But the good news is that I’ve got them replaced with new Bola B18s in bronze. Off to Germany tomorrow for the big Mustang meet - so long as the heat doesn't kill me en route! These are my stock 'Nickel Lustres' 10 Y spokes (on a Euro GT Premium) - but they've been repainted Anthracite, diamond cut, and lacquered. Very happy with result.
You selling these? What is the size and offset?
If you want I can send them to you.
Not a scratch on them and Ill make it worth your while!
Here it is on my last car right before I sold her :(
I know, I lived in Florida for 10 years, including when I bought the 16. I've been in MI for 2 years, but still only have the Mustang for daily diriving. It was nice not having to worry about anything but summer performance tires, but really, it is VERY fun to be able to powerslide around corners in the snow without wearing out the tires. What is it with the summer winter thing........oh wait 55 is cold here.lol
Bronze looks great with that color. But the good news is that I’ve got them replaced with new Bola B18s in bronze.
